Real-Time Tracking, Monitoring, & Management Technology For Security Personnel
Using a GPS antenna combined with GSM wireless communications, it's possible to monitor security personnel in the field real-time and at all time. NovaTracker's GuardTraxTM enables supervisors to follow security personnel during their rounds. GuardTrax can create an invisible geographic boundary – or “geo-fence” - which can generate a signal if the security officer enters an unauthorized area.
In a recent demonstration Jeffrey Cohen, GuardTrax CEO, observed that the system is now being used for proprietary and contract security forces. Enterprises using GuardTrax are able to pinpoint the exact location of all workforce members through a secure web Graphical user Interface (GUI). A cell phone feature on GuardTrax allows the security officer and supervisor to contact each other. The system doesn't permit outside personal calls.
In the event of an emergency, the security officer is able to notify mgmt. Real-time for assistance. Problems can be solved promptly. Security personnel carry a unit about 2” x 6” weighing 6 ounces in a pocket or on a be. The units are leased on a monthly basis.
