Executive Leadership

Jeffrey Cohen is chief executive officer of Intergis LLC, a leader in the mobile resource management and logistics technology sector. Intergis LLC was formed in July 2008 with the merger of resources, technologies, services and experience between Intergis LLC, Vericom Technologies and NovaTracker LLC. Prior to the merger, Cohen was chief executive officer of NovaTracker.

Cohen is responsible for providing corporate vision, strategic direction and financial controls, as well as overseeing sales and corporate marketing strategy.

Cohen joined Intergis, formerly NovaTracker, in November 2006, after a year at Columbus Nova, LLC; a private equity firm and lead investor in Intergis. At Columbus Nova, he focused on the company's venture capital division from financial, operational and strategic perspectives.

Prior to joining Columbus Nova, Cohen spent six years at Eureka Networks, formerly eLink Communications, a national infrastructure-based telecommunications company. At Eureka, he spearheaded sales and marketing, helping to grow company sales to over $95 million.

Cohen earned an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business in 2005 and a B.A. from Duke University in English and History.

Steven Brown is president of Intergis LLC. Prior to the merger of InterGis LLC, Vericom Technologies and NovaTracker, Brown was president of Intergis LLC. He is responsible for providing corporate vision and strategic direction, as well as overseeing enterprise sales.

In 1997, Brown formed Intergis, the leading technology provider of advanced routing, scheduling, dispatching and resource tracking. Intergis evolved from a successful partnership between the Company’s principals and core development team, working together to create advanced information systems that delivered operational efficiencies through sophisticated mapping, routing, scheduling and vehicle optimization systems.

Prior to Intergis, Brown founded Information Software, and created the first point-to-point automated routing and mileage system for use by trucking companies throughout the United States, along with other trucking industry-specific solutions. In 1992, Brown co-founded RoTec in a drive to expand technological know-how of local fleet activities, which led to the development of a new generation of advanced routing, scheduling and vehicle optimization product capabilities.

RoTec was subsequently acquired by Comdata Corporation of Nashville, Tenn, Brown then co-founded Intergis to bring improved logistics software solutions to the marketplace.

Previously, Brown served as vice president of MIS for Advo, Inc., the world's largest direct mail company. Brown was the vice president of product and new business development for Teleprocessing Processing Corporation, a service bureau providing computer system services for educational institutions and municipalities throughout New England.

As Chief Financial Officer, David Zahka is responsible for the overall financial activities at Intergis, including accounting, finance and control. In addition, he is a key member of the senior management team contributing to setting the strategic direction of the company including mergers and acquisitions.

Zahka joined Intergis, formerly NovaTracker, in December 2007 after spending five years as chief financial officer of Talk America, a Nasdaq-listed provider of telecommunications services with revenues of $450 million. Prior to Talk America, Zahka spent 15 years in investment banking at PaineWebber including corporate finance, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.

Zahka earned his M.B.A. from The Darden School at the University of Virginia and his B.A. from Colgate University.

Babar Farooqi has more than nineteen years of experience in managing software and computer technology organizations and joined Intergis, formerly Vericom Technologies, as a result of the acquisition of Portable Internet, Inc. Farooqi is responsible for all technology research, development and operations for the company.

As vice president of technology for Portable Internet, Farooqi managed the development of an industry-leading handheld-based mobile resource management solution. Previously, at Macro 4, Inc., he re-engineered the pre-sales process, generating 110 percent year-over-year growth and improving technical support productivity by 37 percent. Earlier, as vice president of product development at Thor Technologies, Inc., now Oracle Corporation, Farooqi created a best-in-class identity management solution. He has held a number of senior management positions in development and professional services during his ten-year tenure at Computer Associates, Intl. Inc. (CA). In his final role at CA, he built a multi-million dollar professional services organization in the Midwest region.

Farooqi is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology, having earned both a M.S. and a B.S. in Computer Science. Additionally he holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics and Physics from Balochistan University.
